Project
After my team led a discovery session with our client, we compiled a document of findings and recommendations that addressed the strengths and weaknesses of the existing programs and outlined a path for improvement. Our major recommendations were to give the program a clear identity, create an informational microsite, and develop a recruitment guide for use over the next few years.

After pitching a few different ideas, the client settled on the idea we termed “space camp.” The idea behind “space camp” was to evoke exploration, adventure, and learning.
Partnering with two other interns, I developed a strategy to publicize and improve Sundog’s internship program. We started by establishing a brand for the program that would appeal to students and show its versatility from year to year. We designed a microsite to house information about the program, along with the intern-run blog to keep people up to date with intern activities. Since I was stepping into the development intern space as well, I had the opportunity to learn more about WordPress (WP) templating and using WP Custom Post Types.
